Terms and Conditions

  • Confidentiality Code: Anything you say to us will be kept in the strictest confidence, unless it endangers your life or the life of another, in which case a sensitive approach will be used.
  • Jemima’s Peace of Mind is primarily a listening service and we do not accept responsibility for any action you may take and although we try to help, we cannot promise to be a solution to all your problems.
  • Phone calls are charged at the usual landline rate and clients will be invoiced separately for the counselling session. Payment should be by cheque, upon agreement with the counsellor.
  • We endeavour to provide a listening, non-judgemental approach.
  • Discretion is used of clients genuinely can’t afford to pay and, in some cases, fees may be waived.
  • Clients must telephone to book a consultation, and there is no charge for this.
  • 24 hours notice should be given for booking a consultation
  • Clients may be referred on for specialist therapy, if this is necessary
  • If you feel that your counselling sessions are too short then we are prepared to extend your time
  • We are a Christian organisation, so if you would prefer us not to talk about God then please make this clear when you book an appointment.
